An aspirant for the office of the member representing Jos North West constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly (PLHA) come 2023 general election, Pharm. Sam Gyang has made a statement which seek to protect the Girl child.

He appealed to government at all levels especially the lawmakers to create laws that will protect the female gender generally as they most vulnerable and the end recipients of every actions, decisions and policies of the government and the people.

In addition, Pharm. Sam charged government to create more female gender related ministries in line with UNs resolution on prioritizing the female gender.

He lamented the lame attention given to the female gender and said more can still be done better their lives with the right laws put in place.
